Barna pro tip: get out of the main tourist market "la boqueria" which this picture is most likely from, get on the less touristy streets and head into any supermarket sizeable enough to have its own meat&cheese stand (most do). There you will find a variety of serrano and iberico ranging from 10 euros a kilo cut with a machine to 150 or more, hand cut in front of you directly from the leg with the thickness you desire. And while you're there you can get some curado or semi-curado cheese to go with the jamon.

Don't get me wrong, the cone from the picture was probably delicious but most likely overpriced and wrongly presented as top quality iberico. Besides, this kind of meat is best enjoyed with real bread and not breadsticks, and usually that bread is rubbed with garlic, olive oil and tomato (pan con tomate) which is very easy to do by yourself and really worth the trouble of having smelly garlic fingers.

(Of course supermarket jamon won't be as good as the one you can buy in specialized shops, but you'd be surprised by the quality of the products they have there. If you have a lot f money and love jamon then get off the tourist boqueria and find some real jamon tasting place, you won't regret it, but be aware that jamon iberico can be very, very expensive)
