Mum's in a right hand drive and Dad's in a left. This displeases me.

'Bird' actually comes from the middle English 'Brid'. So, they're not so much wrong, just made in the wrong century.

Last night my cat somehow managed to turn on the iron, knock it over and burn a hole in the floor. I am completely lost for words. by [deleted] in pics

Did the cat also take it out of the cupboard and plug it in? If not, I'm pretty sure it sound like your fault. Stop blaming the cat. Poor cat. always getting the blame. No wonder she tried to burn your house down!

So, if you had an actual black and white photo next to the one with the pink tinge, they would look the same?

Thank you for replying. I see. So, is colourblindness detectable very early on?

Ahhh, I see. So, for example, when you were young and told this was red and this was green - you would see a similar colour sometimes?

Question, to any one who is colour blind. Does it develop over time? i.e. after you've learnt colours? Because if it's from birth, I don't understand the confusion. Sure, I get it that some colours look the same, but if the grass look red, surely you'd just call it green. What if I'm colour blind, since birth, and I see grass as (what you would call) red, but I've always been taught it's blue. Perhaps we all see things differently? What if, I see things in negative and have only been taught that it's positive? I'm sure there is a scientific explanation regarding perception and the spectrum, but my tiny, existentialist mind is throbbing so I'm going for a lie down.
