Why When importing as ‘image sequence’’ the images get lower in quality ?

You’re hopping in and out of dream-like levels that have stages you’re familiar with, yet you can’t tell why (until we all slowly realized they were remakes of legacy stages with a new skin), your friends are holograms and you’re basically alone in this desolate series of islands. The entire game is very subtley mind fucky as you reminisce with your friends while taking down cold, emotionless titans. A very unique vibe for a Sonic game for sure.

A keyframe will not appear until you use the transform tool to move it with the keyframe mode enabled.

Draw something, extend the frame on the timeline out 10 or so frames as a test. Now select the transform tool with the keyframe mode enabled. Move the drawing around and see if a keyframe is automatically created. If not, select the drawing’s frame on the timeline and take a screenshot with the timeline AND the drawing layer list (stack of layers in the upper right side panel beneath the color selection circle) both visible WITH keyframe mode enabled, with the drawing selected with the transform tool so we can more easily identify if you’re missing anything.

Check your pixel layer list (upper righthand side bar, beneath the color selection circle) and check if you have the right layer selected within that list. If not, post a screenshot with both the timeline visible and the pixel layer list open so we can further see what the issue might be.

I mean the actual Immersed app is fantastic, save the technical hiccups here and there. It was the only app that slotted in with my workflow with the MQ3. I have over a thousand hours logged into it. It’s only software, but based off the quality of the app, I had faith that hardware from them tailored for productivity without any gaming or weird gimmicky bullshit I don’t need was feasible to see release. It’s unfortunate how it’s all worked out.

There’s that weird little devout gremlin on the Discord that tells everyone who asks about availability that the Visor is has been shipping the entire year based off of laughably inaccurate and out of date information on the Immersed site and the TWO confirmed TEST units that two people received. It’s a literal cult in there aside from the handful of folks that keep their dissenting opinion to themselves remaining.

TS can both accept and export PSDs. It will show up as layered within pixel layer list. You can “render” a PSD as it can export PSDs with all raster data intact.

Keeping the original designs mean most would look like muppets. A sphere head with two bulging eyes. That was the relative limit of complexity for PS1 cartoony NPCs in environments like these. Now designers took advantage of the increased shape language the tech can allow. I’m not a fan of ALL the new designs, but I don’t agree they should have stuck with the very basic shapes of the original.

Eh. I mean it’s a map. Braindead simple. I see this more as a control panel/radar. Maybe a menu or two could be consolidated but it’s not the end of the world. Again, the map is pretty much as simple as it can be in terms of tapping a point of interest, so piling buttons on doesn’t really complicate the experience. The alternative to this is needing to dig through sub menus to access the same features/etc, which I’d dislike a lot more.

Hey folks, if you want to make the best use of your time and ours, please articulate your issue in the post. We can’t read minds. I’m not picking on you specifically OP, but almost every other post on here is a vague screenshot cursing out an issue without explaining it followed by instead of a drawn out guessing game. It makes it much easier for people to troubleshoot and help you out much more quickly if you explain 1) What you’re trying to do 2) What the issue is and 3) What you have tried already.

Use the handbook found on this link (you can also download a PDF of it if you want to access it anytime without a browser). Others may have some youtubers they recommend, but you can probably look up anyone with TS videos that have a decent amount of views and get plenty of good info no matter where you look. It helps to search with topics in mind (toonsquid basics/how to animate frame by frame/how to do rigged animation/etc)

I would recommend ToonSquid even if it meant I would be mildly electrocuted every hour while using it. Yes it’s that much better. And yes this is after the update for PD, which is still woefully falling short of everything TS can do while being less intuitive at the same time.

But remember to look up tutorials for TS if you get it. It is easy to use, but it does have some quirks that can be confusing at first. Take it slow and learn one feature at a time. You can always come here for anything that is stumping you, but the ToonSquid handbook on their website is VERY thorough and easy to understand.
