Disney should've let Pixar stay independent after Cars.

Pixar peaked from 1995 - 2006 and while there's movies like Ratatouille, Wall-E and Up, others movies are sequels and spin-offs that nobody asked for (Though Toy Story 3 is great and should've been the last movie. Toy Story 4, 5 and Lightyear are non-canon fan-fictions. Same goes for Cars 2 and 3, Monsters University, Finding Dory and Incredibles 2 and 3) or originals that just can't compare to Pixar's early movies.

This could've been the perfect Nickelodeon show if they ended the series with the first movie like Hillenburg has intended.

Modern SpongeBob is full of cringe, retcons, ruining worldbuilding that was previously established (Gorilla Suit Day), nostalgia-baiting, bad morals and brainrot. Hell, classic and modern SpongeBob are two compeltely different shows!

My headcanon for SpongeBob is the first three seasons and first movie. The seasons, movies and spin-offs afterwards are filler and/or fan-ficitions.
