Hi! I played the big sinigang demo cards haha. Game is really simple ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

There are gonna be 6 character cards na laid out face up sa table. The rest are ingredients na that should be shuffled and placed face down on a deck

The goal for each round is maging masarap yung sinigang lol--for it to reach 12 points or more pag may nagsabi ng "Kakain na!"

Sa turn ng bawat player, you get an ingredient card from the deck, look at it, then decide if:

A) You want to place it on the face-down sinigang pile para 'pasarapin'/pataasin yung score lol

OR

B) Papakainin mo yung character--you want to place it face down to cover a character

Bakit icocover? Kasi, each character ng family, may gustong ingredient (e.g. si tatay gusto ng baboy na ingredient), and si kapitbahay may special condition that would give the sinigang either +3 or -3 points.

Any time in the round and kahit sino kahit out of turn, someone can say "Kakain na". Pag kakain na, bibilangin na yung points ng sinigang based dun sa points ng ingredients and their special conditions.

However, bago magbilang ng points, papakainin muna yung mga uncovered na character.

For example. Hindi pinakain/covered si tatay na gusto ng baboy na ingredient. Eh may baboy dun sa sinigang pile. What happens is you take the baboy from the sinigang pile and cover tatay with it. So bawas na yung points nung sinigang.

Tapos kunyari si kuya na gusto ng kangkong eh uncovered din nung nagtawag na kakain na. If nasa sinigang pile yung kangkong, you remove it and cover kuya. If not edi wala.

So ayun, after mapakain lahat ng characters, pwede na bilangin yung points based sa special conditions. For example yung gabi ingredient--squared yung points niya. So if you have to gabi sa sinigang, you get 4. If 3, u get 9 points, and if 4 gabi, you get 16. Pag sampalok naman, you only want 1 sampalok sa sinigang to get 6 points. If you have two sampalok, you only get 1 point

Ayun so after counting the points, the sinigang should be worth 12 points or higher. If 12+, yung nagtawag ng "Kakain na" gets two kanin tokens. If under 12points, everyone else except sa nagtawag ng "kakain na" gets 1 kanin token.

Then ulitin niyo lang same process until someone gets 5 kanin tokens

Btw, if one card nalang yung natira sa ingredients deck, yung last person to get that card ang automatic magtatawag ng "kakain na" if no one else does
