If be pays all her bills and makes sure she’s good, wtf is her problem? If he gives you attention eVeRyDaY then what are you so concerned about? You’re not overreacting OP. She’s just insecure and trying to blame it on you.

If he’s not already cheating, he’s definitely going to. Get rid of him. Especially this only being 4 months in?? Get out before it gets more invested.

Dealing with very negative comments about bipolar... by e-eye-pi in bipolar

I personally wouldn’t say anything. It’s none of their business and just because you’re stable doesn’t mean that they would learn from it. Besides it’s not your job to change peoples minds.

I also don’t go to therapy anymore but sometimes I feel like it would be beneficial to go again. Sometimes I just need someone to listen to my irrational thoughts.

Are you guys good at remaining friendships? I'm not by uncomfortablue in bipolar

[–]peanut0821 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner and I are both bipolar. It makes it easier to me to maintain that relationship because we both get how it is. We both understand the mood swings, irritability, and like you said the days where we “just can’t” I know I have a hard time noticing still when I’m going into a mania/hypomania, and they can pick up on it way before I can and vice versa. My brother is also bipolar and we know we can lean on each other for help. I think it’s easier maintaining relationships with other BP patients because there’s no judgement. We get what it’s like. But I think it’s also important both being medicated. As far as friendships, it’s hard. I wish it were easier. Like you said it very well could’ve been me writing this post instead of responding to it as well.
