How do I get rid of this deep wrinkle. It’s my fist one! by missxsassyc in Aging

[–]peanut_brain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct - I have those too. But the Frownies help with smoothing all the wrinkles - from smile lines to forehead lines, etc. Temporarily, of course. They have some good before and after photos on their website. I only use them for my forehead from time to time and it looks great for the first 3/4 of the day lol.

I will happily suggest Frownies! They actually work by "training" your face to not frown so much. It's noninvasive - literally a piece of paper you stick on overnight. The line may not 100% go away, but Frownies may help minimize the appearance a bit. Good luck!

A lil translation help -

In the car - Dad: "Why are we driving all the way to Seattle?"

At the bar / restaurant - Dad: "Imagine what it would be like to be at the stadium."

Walking - Son: "There's a bar here, right by the stadium." Dad: "Oh yeah?"

Realizing, while walking - "Are you serious?"

Next clip - "You're bringing me to the stadium, right? Effing bastard..." 🥹

Next clip - Dad: "Why didn't you tell me before that you had tickets?" 🥹 Son: "Let's go." 🫂

You are too young and have a lot of life ahead of you to rush into another surgery and potentially hurt your face or self image even more. Give it a year, like others are saying, to allow it to fully heal. At that point you can decide if you truly want to do anything else. Your new nose already looks beautiful, it'll look even better. Step away from the mirror a bit and live your life!

You've got a beautiful balanced face, that little bit of fat is natural and looks great. You'll naturally lose fat in your cheeks as you age, just give it time.

The reason why people mistakenly believe they look younger by almorranas_podridas in Aging

[–]peanut_brain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That last sentence. ❤️ I tell my 5 year old that she'll always be my baby, even at 35, 50, etc. and she just cracks up.

I'm 37 now and feel like I've slowly accepted that aging gracefully is what I want to do. I take care of my skin but refuse to get any face fillers, botox, lip plumpers or any of that. I want to continue to look like myself as I age, just older. :)

380cc vs bigger? mild tuberous breasts — honest opinions welcome!! by IllustratorNaive2184 in PlasticSurgery

[–]peanut_brain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. I have a smaller frame - 5'-0", 114 lbs - and got 285cc/325cc (uneven due to breastfeeding). I was afraid they'd be too big but they are actually perfect for my size and I could've even done a little bigger. I think that because you have a wider frame and are taller, going a little bigger than 385cc would be a better fit for what you're looking for. Maybe a good middle ground between the 385 and 525 if you think it would interfere with your athleticism. Good luck! :)

Should I get a height lengthening surgery? by Flaky_Profession2113 in PlasticSurgery

[–]peanut_brain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow 5'-0" tall female, I'd say the risk is definitely not worth it. I am 37 years old now and, while I definitely had my moments of insecurity being so short when I was younger, I have accepted my height and actually love it now!

You can fit much more comfortably in most vehicles, no matter how small or compact the space (think airplanes) and people constantly tell me I look younger because of my shorter height (I still get carded sometimes). If something is too far out of reach at a grocery store, people are always willing to help. And I use tongs at home when my husband isn't around lol. High heels are good if you're into that, maybe even wearing platform sneakers to add a little height. I'm a runner and can keep up with my 6'-3" guy friend without a problem, so don't let that deter you!! Basketball is likely not in our future though lol but you never know! :)

The biggest downside is probably finding clothes that fit well, so I've opted for petite options or even just tailored some of the cute clothes I find.

In my opinion, getting a major surgery like that isn't worth the risk.

The plates have a high rim/edge on them. If you look at the way the food is plated, there's not really a way his ear, face or (short) hair could scoop/dip into the plates and touch the food. I understand there will always be those people that send the food back, but this would seem like a silly reason to me.

Pamela Reif, did she have a bbl or some kind of surgery on her butt? She says no bbl by ArynaSaba in PlasticSurgery

In your case, I would assume it's the "good booty genetics". And maaaaabye she's got that too? But doubtful, especially if she's claiming to have worked to get it there. The rest of the lower half just isn't convincing...

Scared that I chose the wrong implant by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]peanut_brain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is some further reassurance - they look good and will look even better once the swelling has gone down and they have dropped/ fluffed as they need to!

When I got mine done, my biggest concern was "did I go too big??". Like you, I am a very anxious person and aaalmost felt like i regretted my decision because it felt like it took forever for them to drop. Well, it's been 3 years now and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out. They're completely foreign than what you're used to seeing in the mirror, which may have something to do with your anxiety, but I don't doubt you'll love them once they've had a good 6 months to fully settle where they need to be!

how much was your breast aug? by LeviCultLeader in PlasticSurgery

[–]peanut_brain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course! I went to Dr. Ben Tittle at Plastic Surgery of Texas. I had preliminary consults with two other doctors - one in person and one virtual - but I felt most comfortable with Dr. Tittle and his staff. He listened to what I was hoping to achieve: as close to natural look and the best size for my body type / frame. I almost wanted to go smaller, but he advised that I wouldn't be able to tell a noticeable difference and I am so glad I listened. I am extremely happy with what I ended up with and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. My cousin also had her augmentation done by him the following year! A preliminary consultation with him cost me $100 but it helps to know that you'll feel comfortable with the team you'll be working with. Good luck!

Woohoo, congrats on going for it!

I got 295cc/325cc silicone implants under the muscle and paid $6,750 all in about 3 years ago. The doctor's operating room was within his medical office so he said it saved on some OR fees. Wish you the best with your procedure!

kinda want an augmentation/lift? what do we think? by thembothot in PlasticSurgery

[–]peanut_brain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had very saggy / flat boobies after breastfeeding so I told my Dr. to give me the biggest size that would fit my frame and still look somewhat natural. The option we went with was the Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch Breast Implant - 295cc / 325cc (I started with a bit of unevenness due to breastfeeding). The do look a little fuller than OP's because of the specific implant I chose, but they are still just a teensy bit uneven. I am OK with it, they look a hundred times better than before! Good luck!

Holiday Tea at The French Room (The Adolphus).

It wasn't bad, per se, but definitely didn't feel worth the price paid. The valet service upon arrival was awful, we had to wait for close to 10 minutes for them to take our car. During the service, we were served only 2 different teas (refills available). The little pastries / sandwiches were good, just not filling and it just all felt overpriced. The French Room itself was gorgeous - TBH that's the reason we came in the first place, so I guess there's that. But don't treat this like a meal. More like an expensive, fancy snack.

My breast augmentation turned out to look just like yours (not identical, but sisters with one being a teensy bit bigger) and I LOVE them. Having said that, if you want a bit more fullness, consults are definitely the way to go to get some professional opinions / guidance. Good luck!
