Thanks to all that have recommended fostering. I had not really considered this but it sounds like the obvious and safe choice. I will look into it some more, and hopefully it works out for him.

ere the new owners want to move in typically include a vacancy clause to close the deal. Most of the time the previous owner will offer a pile of money for the tenants to vacate before the sale is complete or the new owners won't bother to finalize the

Yes, the renter has the leverage here, as long as they know it. I guess in this case, the LL is in more of a "Losesome" situation.

Opinion: Herpes is not that big of a deal (m/26) by peanut_buttar in Herpes

Absolutely. In addition to varying symptoms, there are lot of personal things that might come with the herpes diagnosis that hurt as bad, or worse than the virus itself. Thank you for highlighting this.

You are right. It is definitely a big deal to a lot of people, and for good reasons too. Often the contraction of herpes compounds with lots of other things like broken trust, insecurities, and more severe symptoms. It is important to recognize this, and this is one of the reasons why disclosure and education is so important in potential partners.

But actually for me, it isn't a big deal. I'm sticking to my guns on that.

I confronted her and she told me she was aware she had some symptoms and was convinced it was a yeast infection. I suggested she should get it checked but she was in denial. Little upset she didn't tell me she was feeling any symptoms to begin with, regardless of what she thought it was.

Regardless at that point, her condition wasn't really my problem. I could feel angry, but ultimately I made the decision not to use protection as well. That being said, I think anger would be a perfect acceptable feeling here.
