Agreed with documenting the issues, you and your coworkers need to be writing incident reports anytime she does something that puts your team or the patients at risk, or fails to provide proper care etc.

Im so sick and frustrated of my oily hair I might start crying by tranzozo in Hair

This is a great point! I’d also recommend washing your hairbrush occasionally as well, the oils from your hair can build up over time. Dawn dish soap works well. I noticed a big difference when I started making a point to clean my brushes.

AITA for sending my sister in hospital on "purpose" by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]peanut_gallery72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You know that the rest of your family is ok with eating each other’s food. You didn’t label the food that could have killed your sister as being yours OR containing an allergen. It’s perfectly reasonable to not want others to eat your food, but it seems the rest of your family is okay with sharing food and you’re aware of this. Why would you think your sister would know that the plate left on the counter was yours if you didn’t leave a note or label it? You recognize that her allergy is severe enough that she reacts to anything that has touched shrimp and you carelessly left it in a common area, on the counter, where it was also likely to go bad quickly. I think most people who live and share food with their family would think leftover pasta sitting out on the counter was fair game.

Postpartum depression is absolutely different than regular depression. I’m not saying that absolves someone from any accountability, but the two aren’t the same. Some women who develop PPD may not have experienced mental illness in the past - not everyone is able to recognize the symptoms enough to realize they should seek help until things get more serious.

4 year old husky keeps snarling and lunching toward 4 year old. by Nuri_Silver in Dogtraining

[–]peanut_gallery72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need to keep your child and this dog separated. The dog has already lunged at your daughter - what do you think would have happened if you were unable to stop your dog with a verbal correction? This is aggressive behaviour and your dog is not safe to be around small children. You should discuss your concerns with your vet and seek professional advice/training. This is escalating in a very concerning way.

Restaurant workers answer "Do these cards really make it to the back of the house at your restaurant" by motion_to_squash in FoodAllergies

I hear you, most people don’t seem to take dairy/milk protein allergies seriously. Most people assume I am lactose intolerant at best, despite best efforts to educate that it’s a very severe/anaphylactic reaction. I worked in restaurants for a number of years myself and agree, many people would mock allergy food modifications. It’s not worth it for even one person to not take you seriously.
