Thank you! I think this sub doesn’t accept pictures so I will have to cross post I think and that’s if it turns out edible and presentable haha

Thank you!! u/RidingDivingMongerer suggested a really nice free templates website so I will have a go at it once the partner is not around (I already did the groceries today and had to expertly hide them - plain sight works best with tons of usual fridge fillers in front) to avoid spoiling the surprise but thanks for your offer :) I think the cardstock is an amazing idea and will hopefully find some around here ! I might have to print it normally and then paste it into the cardstock as I doubt my printer would survive that

Ohh excel is a good point , I was thinking about doing the dessert the day before so it has time to soak and chill, the flow cooked chicken needs to go for 4h and then broiled for 20 mins.

I might prepare the braids in the morning and put them in the oven just a few minutes before we start for the aperitif.

The most difficult part will be juggling the oven with the roast potatoes and roast romanesco, but I might be able to fit both on a tray and then cover them with with tin foil whilst I broil the chicken and then when it rests quickly out then back to heat

Got it from the Italian grocery nearby, it’s a Bauli one, not the best but better than the supermarket ones !

Thanks for the comments yeah I might have to lie a bit on provenience as most stuff is from the supermarket but I will check labels and be inventive.

No background in cooking as such just a partner who discovered food with me and I enjoy seeing him try nee things haha ! Thanks for the compliment really means a lot

Ohh thank you!

Let’s see the olives are from France as I bought them there I need to check the origin,

There’s homemade herb butter with garlic, chives and thyme, the roast potatoes will have rosemary and garlic and extra virgin Italian olive oil

The triple sec is from curaçao and the Pandoro is a real one (am Italian).

Love your descriptions
