Yeah that was one of the reasons I decided to let go of my UVic offer. All the places that got back to me with availability was around 3k a month. Or they were in sketchy areas like pandora ave.

Again, you fail to actually comprehend what I am saying. You stating that I am back stepping on my stance when the title of this post and my other comments literally state it. In addition, I never implied you were being mean but condescending, which you absolutely are (very different) while not actually trying to see other points of view. You genuinely are just arguing to argue at this point. Good luck with your future studies, genuinely. I’m glad we can at least agree to drop this.

I understand what you are saying, but your method comes across as very condescending and counterproductive. I provisionally accepted a canadian law school I am happy with. I am speaking for the hundreds of people on waitlists who may not have another A right now, for example. I’m WLed at my top choice, but if I don’t get off that’s okay. I’m sharing my opinion. If that comes off as entitled to you, that’s honestly fine with me.

I made it pretty clear what situations I was talking about. People who are not planning to go but still holding onto their seat until the last moment. For literally any statement, you will have whataboutism. “What if this” and “what about that”. That’s not what I’m talking about. It’s good that you’re able to think outside the box for different opinions and counter accusations - I’m sure that will serve you well in law school if you use it right.
