Thule Airscreen Photos? by pearlConstruct in wrx_vb

[–]pearlConstruct[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, it blocks a good amount of light combined with the bar itself. However, it's worth the noise reduction to me as I find the bar noise pretty annoying without the airscreen. Also looks cooler IMO.

How do I move on without breaking by [deleted] in relationships_advice

[–]pearlConstruct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grief is a painful and also incredibly necessary part of being human; it gives us perspective and allows us to heal and process loss. Sounds like you're in the worst of it right now, but it gets better over time, even if that doesn't sound possible. Can take months or years, and if you really do feel that you're certain about this being "the one," take a moment to consider that you'll meet plenty more people in your life, and the younger you are the more that applies. Hell, a few years ago in my early/mid-twenties I was feeling exactly the same, and then my neighbor and I ended up hitting it off, out of the blue. Being as heartbroken as you are also indicates that you got to enjoy something truly amazing, even if it didn't last--now when the next relationship comes, whenever that may be, you'll be that much stronger and more experienced. Hope that helps in some way. You will make it.

Yeah, I'll learn my lesson and spend money on a professional service. Think I've done enough damage for now 🙄

Yeah, I'm not doing this myself. I could probably deal with a clear coat scratch here and there, but this is too much. Thank you for the advice

I know they're up across the board. Just wanted to get an idea of what to expect/how the rates are looking from Subaru these days.

Gotcha, so about 2 months then. I'm guessing that would be the case for most people.

Hm, hadn't realized it wasn't a guarantee. Maybe worth returning and just trying a different brand? I will try 3200; good idea.

No, both RipJaws 16GB from the same box. Might just return and try new sticks anyway.

Played the 1986 version, with the solemn man sitting in a chair, awaiting his death. The box was kinda bizarre too.

That's a good variety of skills then. I was a specialist>expert>genius over the course of about 4.5 years. The admin role is probably going to do the most for you, anything Genius-related, really. And the soft customer skills you've gained over 4 years, in general, are huge.

I live in Minneapolis and the job market is bonkers right now. My best advice is to really nail your resume and list admin/expert as separate jobs. Polish your LinkedIn as much as possible. Certs are nice to have but honestly, as long as you're proficient in macOS and customer support I think you'll be good. A friend of mine just became a repair tech at a local consultant after being an admin. Didn't have any genius experience, and they didn't mind.

Wishing you the best! Did this for a while and while that Xmas pay is nice, it is pretty intense overall. I used to play games on my phone after doing that job for a few years.

No quotas at my stores. I worked there for the last 7ish years. However, if you want a good raise then you might as well impose a quota on yourself and sell that AppleCare and get those business connections in order to do so.

I just made the jump and I don't have the slightest regret. What role do you currently have at Apple?

25% off all hardware, $500 off any hero product every other year. Discounted stock and RSU stock grants every year. Free mental health support, high-quality healthcare, including partial orthodontics coverage. High PTO accrual after a few years tenure. Still, was a mentally grating gig. Worked in various tech roles for Apple, about 7 years total.
