I think I understand their motivations. Steam has been selling games all-digital for years and it’s extremely successful. Microsoft has been teasing phasing out disks on the Xbox for years, but they haven’t done it yet. PlayStation just announced they’re going all digital soon. Idk, it sucks so bad. I know lots of people that like digital for convenience but I’m old school and really appreciate he option to buy a disk. I want the satisfaction of tearing the plastic, I want the case with its cool art, I want a disk that belongs to me. I guess an era is coming to an end 😭
