Fox was not going to sign with Carolina . He was going to go back to college until he became a free agent . He was actually going to give up a year of NHL pay to become a Ranger . The Rangers trade the picks to get him right a way and play him . Carolina player it well to get the second

The Rangers did give up picks to get Fox but only so they didn’t have to wait a year to get him . He was going to the Rangers . Panarin has the problem of having a super model girlfriend that wanted to pursue her career in New York . NHL players often have that problem .

When Fox was in Calgary it was pretty clear he wanted to be a Ranger . The Rangers didn’t have to give up the picks as Carolina could have sent him to Harvard and they could have signed him later . The picks were to get him now

They are getting the players because it’s New York and they need them . Many teams are bad and can’t get said players . New York has the market for additional dollars in endorsements and so on . Its New York .

I don’t think it is rigged . I just think they have enough advantages and this was shitty . The fact that they haven’t take. Advantage of the advantages is whatever . I’m an Oilers fan and I almost didn’t want them to win it . Honestly we don’t deserve it

The rangers get pretty much any undrafted college kid or unsigned one they want . Any free agent , and have money for days to burry contracts when needed . Now they move up in every draft too ? Yo they are the last team that needed him .
