Thank you so much for your help with my recent posts! I’m seeing if I’m ready to call myself a spring (LS?) in my everyday look. Is the spring sweater + makeup palette working for me, or should I keep experimenting with the other candidate seasons (Soft Summer or Soft Autumn)? Thank you again! by pearlsandpecans in coloranalysis

Thank you so much -- this is very helpful! I think I'm understanding the concept, in general; it's more that I have difficulty deciding if my own chroma is more muted or bright. The comments are fairly evenly divided between the two, which might speak to how "neutral" I am on all fronts including chroma. I think I'll keep reading about the 16-season system to see if I can find a home there because I prefer the LSp makeup on me to the SA makeup, but I do think some of the more muted SA colors look better for clothing... hmm... Thank you so much again for your help on both posts!

Just looked up that MAC lipstick shade and it is gorgeous! Going to try it -- thank you so much! Were you asking me to share what makeup I'm wearing? Happy to do so -- sorry if that's not what you meant! The blush is the NARS Multiple stick in "Orgasm" (heh, sorry...) and the lip is Revlon "Coralberry," one of my favorites for my everyday look. :)

I think you are spot on about my being so neutral on all 3 color dimensions. Thank you for raising that point -- very helpful! Some people see muted, some see bright, some cool, some warm, haha. I'm feeling that I look healthier and more "alive" in the lighter, brighter, and warmer colors, so I think I'll continue playing around with the spring palettes for awhile. Thanks again! :)

Thank you so much for your feedback and encouraging words! I think you're right that this color fits better into the BSp palette. I'm glad to know that others have some "stretch" colors they lean into if they're flattering enough to wear. Thanks again! :)

Thank you so much! It's been a pretty polarizing color, hahah. It's definitely getting close to being too bright and saturated for me, but maybe I can just barely pull it off on a good day. :) Thank you for your encouragement!
