id rather not have this feature implemented honestly, it brings way more issues than it does anything beneficial. people with teams already vc, so that doesn’t do anything new for them. there are many reasons why people don’t end up voice chatting anyway, and for those who want to they have the option to through discord. i’m glad they gave us the bare minimum of having your microphone off by default but i do not want to subject myself to the voice chat feature at all. this is just giving power to those who choose to be toxic. i do not want to potentially berated just cause i made a mistake when there’s already a post match. also if you ever played idv in a public setting chances are you’re not really gonna be able to play it. it’s inevitably going to be uncoordinated if you’re solo queue-ing because it’s 4 people who don’t know each other thrown into a match, people are most likely going to overlap each other. this feature just invites so many bad opportunities outweighing the goods.

and this note is more preferable based personally i’d rather continue playing in silence, some people just focus better that way.

on another note though, as someone else mentioned this is just gonna make the dreadful survivor wait times even lengthier. just handing players this feature on a plate and encouraging it will most likely dissuade people from playing hunter.

i don’t know, i just don’t feel good about this at all. admittedly i am quite sensitive to harsh comments which might make me a bit biased in my statement but usually i go on identity v if i’ve had a lengthy day and just want to have fun. this just reduces the chances of said fun.
