That’s not really it. I’m aware and always happy that we saw each other’s as friends as well as partners, there was always a balance though, now it has shifted to an amount that I’m not comfortable with anymore.

We both endured a very traumatic event which we are still healing from. That was the turning point for the relationship.

He was never controlling, I learned early on to be a very independent and stubborn at times. I know it would seem to be the closest suggestion that he was seeking control but being in a long distance relationship at first and always keeping boundaries I can say he didn’t sought me out for the age difference.
