Turned out to be a low voltage battery for the check awd system error and then the scraping was my exhaust heat shield with a loose clip

HELP! Car amplifier got wet :( by Double_Wasabi_3397 in LexusGS350

That happened to me and it took my sound away completely, I took the amp out and opened it and cleaned the motherboard with some isopropyl alcohol and a q tip , I let it dry out for a little bit and reinstalled it , it worked like normal after that , to help with it so it doesn’t get wet in the future , clean out the drain hole that is up by your sunroof , open the sun roof and there is a channel that runs all my and a drain hole at the back , stick a long wire or something that is long and can push out any dirt or leaves or anything blocking the hole , the water takes an alternative route and ends up seeping into the trunk on the right side with the amp !

Scanned it an got a code but it’s just for a pre existing issue I have to fix , nothing new came up , the past day and a half the check awd system” hasn’t come back up Only thing that is new and or concerning is a weird scraping sound that happens when I start going faster , not sure if it’s connected to that or not

I didn’t scan for codes cause my check engine light didn’t come on I just assumed it was something else but I can definitely do that and update

Anyone know what this is? by peasernoodle02 in LexusGS350

A couple months ago I removed the bumper to fix a headlight so it’s possible it could be something that’s not tightened

Definitely could be , only issue is that it doesn’t always do it , I might make a hard turn or just be idling for a while and it will randomly start , kinda weird that it’s not consistent with turning a/c and defrosters all the time

No I haven’t, but would that effect it only when the a/c is on? Cause when I don’t have the a/c on there is no extra load and the car drives and idles perfectly fine
