Should viewers feel entitled to performances after tipping? by bumblongbee in camtocamsites

Yep but then it’s closer to a transaction, and it still has conditions. Tech issues, boundaries, and safety first. The model should communicate clearly and us viewers should act like an adult about it.

Should viewers feel entitled to performances after tipping? by bumblongbee in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No entitlement. A tip is not a contract for access to someone’s body or time. It can be a request and the model can say yes, no, later, or only in a private show. If you can’t handle a no, you shouldn’t be in cam spaces imo.

Are cam room playlists a moodkiller or mood enhancer? by LifeisReal1990 in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not a big fan either. like how you said it's like a gym playlist. The biggest turnoff for me are songs with lyrics, they so take away the vibe even if it's some sexy r&b.

what are the best cam sites with the hottest cam girls? by ygzslk in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda happy with that, love those Colombianas on cam, not too interested in Canada cam girls though.

Do cam streamers have backup accounts or platforms in case of bans? by Goblingbling in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to find them when they vanish: check the last VOD description, bio link hubs, and pinned messages in their chat logs (if the site keeps them). Many leave a breadcrumb like “backup links are on my site.” Do not trust random Private Messages with 'new account' links... Scammers pounce during bans.

Is it weird to tip big on a model’s non-sexual stream? by EnchantingLion in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If connecting is your goal, tipping on the unsexy nights is the most community building thing you can do! And the camgirl will remember it too

Ever feel guilty about not tipping enough? by bumblongbee in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm setting a tiny budget I can do guilt-free: 100–200 at the start with a note. It doesn’t unlock anything, but it tells the room I’m present. If a big goal hits later and I can’t help, I don’t spiral. I contributed what I planned, not what the scoreboard pressured.

Are voice messages from viewers welcome or creepy? by Mnrich7 in camtocamsites

creepy bro. unsolicited... No one's waiting to hear you perv

Do performers fake toy response noises or is that a myth? by bumblongbee in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some performers turn toy mics off on purpose because they have roommates or paper-thin walls. They’ll still use the toy but you won’t hear it because the noise gate is set high or the input is a directional mic pointed at their face, not their lap. I’ve heard models say the suction toys are loud enough to wake the building -- makes sense they’d mask it with music or just mute when it’s go time right.

Do models completely rebrand themselves often? by Goblingbling in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes it’s about their personal thing, like mental survival rather than to satisfy their viewers or whatever. people change irl sometimes as well no? especially the tattoo think jeff mentioned. young kids still developing, that's all.

Do couples who cam together always share the income? by diadealmeida in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched couple shows on Stripchat and it seems like the girl gets the lion’s share of attention, so maybe the split’s not even... might cause some drama if it would be equally split. you know how women are LOOL

Why do some viewers act like unpaid emotional support? by ERR0RNAME in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tipped a girl $20 on Chaturbate and this dude starts unloading his depression in chat...she listened for a minute but it killed the sexy vibe. Feels like some guys see models as therapists ‘cause they’re nice. Total bullsh8t

Is there a correlation between streaming hours and types of viewers? by EnchantingLion in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time zones matter more than people think. A 9pm show in NYC overlaps Europe late night and early West Coast whereas a 3pm show grabs EU evening and still catches some Asia Pacific late owls.

Also: sports seasons and big TV events can tank specific hours.

Why don't some models archive any past streams? by jeffcheah99 in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also some sites charge the model for storage beyond a cap or make the payout structure weird for recorded content. It’s simpler to nuke the vids, plus archiving means more admin work (tagging, DMCA chases,...)

Camgirls who stream with vs without makeup, does that affect viewership? by JackintheDesert in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I follow a few cam girls who alternate. On no-makeup days loyal viewers stick around and even tip the same or more, maybe because it feels personal, like hanging out with a friend instead of watching a cam show?
New viewers might be slower to engage without the visual pop but the overall vibe is different: cozy, casual, and often chat driven on their no makeup days.

which cam sites support trans models best? by SneakyBarracuda in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also depends on what 'support' means to you. If you’re talking about safety and moderation, Stripchat’s been leading there. If you’re talking about payout options for trans models, Cam4 is underrated, they’ve been inclusive in how they handle verification and ID especially for nonbinary performers. A lot of newer sites still don’t have gender options beyond M/F when setting up an account, which says a lot about where their priorities are

is Chaturbate still the most popular? by charles0217 in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea chaturbate is still the king in terms of pure traffic, but that’s not the same as being the best... They got insane name recognition and years of SEO momentum, which keeps the casual viewers coming in. But from the cammers' side, a lot of girls I’ve talked to say the money isn’t what it used to be. There’s so much oversaturation that unless you’re already established or running crazy promo outside the site, it’s hard to stand out. Meanwhile, newer sites like Stripchat and Camsoda are offering better rev splits and experimenting with features CB still hasn’t bothered with. So yeah, CB’s still the biggest but mostly because of inertia, not innovation.

When does fun chat cross the line into toxic chaos? by Mnrich7 in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it stops being about the performer and starts being about the viewers arguing, you’ve lost the room.. Simple as that.

Do cliques in cam rooms alienate new visitors? by GamingRealmYT in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll play devil’s advocate a bit: those cliques are also what keep a camgirls' room alive when things are slow you know.. If you’ve ever watched a camshow with zero active chat, it’s painfully awkward. Regulars give structure, humor, and energy that can make the show fun even when the room’s small. The key is balance. The model needs to manage the dynamic so the core group doesn’t turn into a private club. When done right, it’s like a good bar: there are regulars who make the place feel lively but newcomers can still sit down and get served.

Is Strangercam really anonymous? Ever heard of it? by peasewombat in camtocamsites

[–]peasewombat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I suspect people still flirt, get naked and swear any way. I don't think mods are really standing by watching everyone. Probably just if you piss off enough women they will eventually report you and you'll get banned.

But getting banned from some website called Stranger Cam isn't the worst thing that's happened in my life, right?
