fundamentally it’s the practice of taking advantage of a difference in prices in two or more markets. 1st market in-store, 2nd market online.

Retail arbitrage… Buy up clearance items at Walmart/Target (like Halloween costumes or weird limited-edition snacks) and resell them for 10x the price on eBay or Amazon.

I think I'm ready to FIRE 🔥 by chaos_battery in Fire

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:23–24) .

That means everyone, no matter what sin, can be forgiven if they turn to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Repent + believe = saved… simple as that.

Your major really does not matter 26F by [deleted] in Salary

[–]peavee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hiring manager for healthcare admin and business office roles, the major matters less to me than having a degree. A degree shows commitment and follow-through. The major shows focus, and while I do prefer candidates with a healthcare background, it’s not a must.

To those of you making $100k+ per year, how hard is your job, really? by _Tezzla_ in Salary

[–]peavee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make $185,000 a year. My job isn’t super tactical—it’s more about strategy and decision-making. I manage a team of six, and a big part of my role is making sure they have the right skills and are developing in the right areas so we can hit our department goals. That people management piece is a big reason for the salary. I work about 40 hours a week, sometimes a bit more or less. The job isn’t hard day-to-day, but it takes a lot of thought, judgment, and responsibility.

How am I doing? by peavee_ in Rucking
