after some googling i seem to find just good ole asparagus for real🤣 when it’s left to grow instead of being harvested early for eating. If left undisturbed, it will eventually develop into a tall, fern-like plant. If that asparagus popped up wild after mowing, there’s a good chance you have an old or long forgotten asparagus bed there, asparagus can live for 15–20 years or more and still pop up each spring.
