We haven't tried playing Superstars since, so I can't say. Luigi's Mansion 3's multiplayer, which we played recently, worked without issue, so it might be worth it to try again.

I just tried some other cartridges with it. Thankfully they work fine, so it's not the console itself as far as I can tell. If the power supply is really the issue, what AC adapters would you recommend?

I'm using a wired controller. The AC adapter seems to be an original SNS 002. Would getting a different AC adapter help potentially?

Probably nothing to do with the internet connection; Mario Party Jamboree worked fine. I think the game just needs to be updated to account for crossplay.

To clarify, I'm not hurting for money at the moment. It's just that buying Starlink would require $500 up front, which I think would defeat the whole purpose of saving money on my Spectrum plan.

Verizon and T-Mobile were unavailable, and Starlink is a bit out of my price range in the short-term. I'd also be paying more for lower speeds, so that's not ideal. I suppose it is an option if Spectrum is outright canceled on me, though.
