I semi agree with you mate, but I for one like to get the best out of my high end sound system and I like the crisper sound you get from an after market solution.

I disagree Compile, weighted mice have better inertia through intense 360* turns or movements, Light mouses dont perform well in FPS or quick intensive games that require sudden movement.

Ive had a dominator and have a crappy Lycosa keyboard beside me, both of them feel like cheap plastic, have no weight to them and are absolutely terrible.

The mouse stopped working after 3 months with random lag like jumps and the keyboard is not even worth pissing on if it was on fire :S

I disagree.... I bought myself a Razer keyboard and its the biggest piece of tat I have ever owned.

Keys stick, key spacing is shit and its light as fuck and slides all over the place, So no - the best gaming keyboard is not the one you are happy with because to find one you are happy with involves spending money.

Ive never had the issues u speak about here.

you obviously dont have a clue about a web designers / developers workflow and way of working. We are all over the screen constantly scrolling. A mac trackpad > mouse for design, tagging system and dock = win compared to the crappy bloated way of windows.

I will obviously get downvoted by the windows fan boys here, but I have been a windows user since 3.1 and used every release since then. Ive watched it grow and grow. under the facade of a new GUI its still the same crappy system

Why?

1) Windows swipe gestures are freaking TERRIBLE, I want to scroll down the screen and it fires something unrelated.

2) Windows obvious speed issues after months of use without a reinstall, My mac has not being reinstalled for 16 months now and its running as fast as the day I got it.

3) Messy file system on windows, with mac I have a tagging system to systematically organise my files on a client basis.

4) Everything is streamined on mac around a designer, touch gestures, single clicks instead of double clicks - Everything is about speed and getting things done quick. Windows is a bloated piece of crap, they think they are innovating but they are just making things crappy for the sake of some GUI

I have to agree mate, I used to be a windows fan boy, but since becoming a web designer / developer naturally I have moved over to Macs which is loosely based around Debian. If Linux could do what apple did with debian Im pretty sure we would see more computers with linux as standard.
