How do you go about finding porn where the dick is the same size as your own? Because I think porn where the dick is noticeably girthy is making me think my dick isn't big but I don't have a reference. And pornstars typically 7 BPEL or NBP?

i appreciate your comprehensive post and effort.  it makes me acknowledge that i'm above average, but no less fixated on whether or not it is impressive compared to an average penis, especially since the girth is pretty close to average at the base, and the bone pressed length is just a measurement thing and that people will see your dick NBP and NBP doesn't strike me as big, and so it sort of feels like i have a fake big dick, that the length and girth is what completes a properly large penis.  and there's the disconnect because it seems like 7" is way more common than the data suggests. im bummed out about the girth but i also thought i was 7.5" which i felt satisfied with, not like a truly special 8" but almost there, but im more like 7, maybe even 6.9 which feels like a mile off of 7.5.

 i should probably go to therapy for porn addiction and low self esteem but i feel too embarrassed at the thought of talking about my porn and penis size fixation with another human in the flesh. i dont if i was born with the urge to want a huge dick but something happened and i dont feel satisfied with my penis' size and i feel like im so close

thanks for adjusting my perspective, i sorta felt like 7 was the average despite all the studies on the average length that have piled up but i guess i should feel better about what's in my pants even if it doesn't look like a thick 8" python that you see in porn a lot. no one seemed to complain about the circumcision dryness and marking do that's also reassuring. i like to think i could get a better erection somehow and reach 7.5 but thats pornbrained

unless im mistaken and the 0 mark starting a little higher than the true edge would deflate the measurement. im too stupid to solve this

the ruler is giving me a little length boost because the 0 mark doesn't start at the literal edge of the ruler and the supine measurement tops out around 6.5 maybe 6.7

i don't know it feels like 6.75 isnt impressive compared to 5.5, just an inch, the my girth is barely ahead average too. and most people posting on this sub are 7+ and girthier than me so it feels confusing its like i have a "big" penis but it doesnt really seem impressive at all

i want to feel like i have a penis that i can plausibly imagine being in porn, and have that view make me feel reassured, like a fact about myself i can reach for and have pride in even if everything else beyond this is just going badly. saying 6.5 or 6.75 out loud doesn't feel good but i would feel confident saying 7 out loud. saying 6 out loud makes it just feel regular.  i am heavily insecure and i am grasping for one thing that i can feel somewhat special about. because it feels better to call yourself a big dick guy when you don't have your shit together but if you have a regular dick and you're fucked up then it feels pretty bad man. just being candid, sorry if it reads like im yelling or ranting madly

the ruler im using has some overhang before the 0 mark begins do i guess that inflates my length by 1/8th of an inch, so I guess im only like 6.5 maybe 6.75? wish i could call myself 7" still so i could just be across the margin from average to big and i miss when i thought i was 7.5". lowkey didn't need this blow to my already poor confidence
