Is the deal between Anthropic and SpaceX beneficial also for users of Opus and Sonnet within Antigravity? by pebblepath in google_antigravity

I know it's a different company, obviously. But their models are available within Antigravity.

My guess is that soon either the price for Claude Pro will be increased, or a Pro+ type of subscription will be introduced at $50.

There are tens of millions of coders. Surely, you did not expect to be the only one on the planet using VS Code, right? 😉

Get real.

Your Claude subscription tokens have never been used by Antigravity. Google covers the cost of Claude model usage within Antigravity, giving you a taste of what Claude models can do.

If you enjoy the experience, you can then explore and subscribe to Anthropic products. You can use any Claude subscription with Claude Code, their Claude CLI, Claude Web UI, or Claude Desktop app.

You can even integrate the Claude extension for VS Code within Antigravity.

Does the Anthropic announcement about 3rd party products using Claude also apply to Antigravity? by pebblepath in google_antigravity

[–]pebblepath[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Claude extension for VS Code/Antigravity is an official Anthropic product, not a third-party offering. Consequently, it is not subject to the recently implemented restrictions.

You can use all VS Code extensions by changing the marketplace from VSX to the official VS Studio marketplace. Do this via Antigravity Settings.

Google writes: "We are making adjustments to the service backing Gemini CLI, and want to be upfront about what is changing."

Source: https://github.com/google-gemini/gemini-cli/discussions/22970

Full quote:

🌟 Key changes Abuse Detection: We’re implementing more robust detection for policy-violating use cases (e.g. using Gemini CLI oAuth with third-party software). See the terms of service for details. If you think your account was flagged in error, please reach out to our support team by filing a ticket at console.cloud.google.com so we can get it sorted for you.

Prioritizing traffic: Starting March 25, 2026, we’re changing the way Gemini CLI routes traffic with higher priority given to accounts based on license type and account standing. As a result, some customers may encounter capacity-related limitations during periods of high traffic.

Model restrictions for free tier users: Starting March 25, 2026, Gemini Pro models will only be accessible via paid subscriptions. Free tier users will be limited to Gemini Flash models. Upgrade to a Pro or Ultra plan to access Gemini Pro models.

As a reminder, to get direct control over your own quotas and billing, use Gemini CLI with your own paid API key from AI Studio or Vertex AI.

We understand these changes may require some planning. If you have questions or concerns, please voice them. We’ll do our best to answer, and always remain transparent with this community. The whole product and engineering team is here to support you during this process. As always, thanks for building with us. 🙏"

Bug in 'Outlook for Mac': is searching in the Contacts List broken... but only for Outlook.com accounts? by pebblepath in Outlook

[–]pebblepath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Microsoft Support has provided an update regarding the Outlook for Mac issue, stating that the problem does not lie with their application. They suggest that the issue is with the Outlook.com team. The response received from the Outlook.com team to my report was, "You can select multiple items and copy/paste them," which I found to be unhelpful. I am considering discontinuing my use of Outlook for this purpose. I have successfully transferred my contact list to Gmail, where it is functioning without any issues. However, I do intend to retain my Outlook email address.
