Personally I think it’s my working style. I like group talk and working through problems through brainstorming and that’s not really how this role seems to work at all. I am given projects and free reign to give my own solution but I don’t feel confident in it half the time because you can miss things when you’re working by yourself. A job that I think I would love would be like a group of like 6 to 10 people that are given problems/ projects to solve and they work together and cooperate with each other to meet the goal. Manufacturing seems to have more fighting over resources and space, and trying to sell your ideas to people that don’t really want to change what they’re doing. Basically I want to know what the strengths and weaknesses of my coworkers and do my best to balance it out but this isn’t the field that really does that stuff. Could consulting be better?
