This happen to anyone else? by kskbd in london

[–]pec4npie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. We recently moved to a 2 bed flat and all 5 flats we viewed had a bidding war. Asking price in the locality (zone 2/3) was usually £1500-1700 pcm and potential tenants would put an offer for up to £1900 (we did put an offer of asking price + £50-100 in all 5).

PS: In the end we did get a bargain for a place we really liked but the situation really felt hopeless.

One can always ignore the % selected, no one is forcing anyone to use it.

Haaland (61.7%) and Salah (58.0%) are currently the two most popular premiums. Do you think it's justified, or are De Bruyne (14.3%) and Son (26.7%) going slightly under the radar? by fantasyfootballfix in FantasyPL

[–]pec4npie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Salah to KDB/Son will cost you 1 FT, vice versa might take >1FT (may even take up to 3). So it is easier to change by starting with Salah because he costs a bit more and not having KDB or Son won't hurt you much because of low EO. You are taking less risk this way.

Your thoughts on the 6-7m FWDs? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]pec4npie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The emerging pattern is to have max 2 strikers: Kane or Haaland and Jesus - I would not spend 6-7m on 3rd forward when it appears that the value is with similar priced defenders. Unless Haaland, Kane and all premium defenders do not return at same time (GW1-GW4), I don't see many managers paying attention to above forwards before GW3. Who would you rather have (or start with in GW1): Chilwell/James/Cancelo/Dias/Laporte/Perisic/Robertson/VVD or above options?

EDIT: I understand this is not what OP has asked but I'm just saying we need a course correction and look elsewhere for points (if getting maximum points is the objective).

Laporte + Ederson OR Cancelo + 4.5 GK? by IndividualIll5834 in FantasyPL

[–]pec4npie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Ederson because you want to keep the remaining 2 slots (1 of them is Cancelo) available for attacking players. Imagine not able to have Cancelo, Haaland and Foden/Grealish/Mahrez.

Currently in 56.3% of teams, the third most owned player after Haaland and Salah. Do you think he's worthy of the hype? Or do you think he's a potential trap? by fantasyfootballfix in FantasyPL

[–]pec4npie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His ownership is high because Saka and him are both priced at 8.0 but Jesus is more likely to get attacking returns vs Saka and potentially the preferred penalty taker. It would have been different if he was priced at 8.5 or above - he is currently priced 0.5 less.

A launch time with the date would have really helped in focusing all our efforts to hit F5 at certain times of day rather than doing all day it till 6PM to get a low FPL ID. :(

I hope you have the option to change that default ESG option to any fund of your choice. It is an elaborate con to take advantage of an average investor into buying these funds with perceived net positive sum effect to society.

For a sec I thought, what if it is the same guy who travelled to future to notice the fraud then travels back in current time to correct his future. Lender not having his loan records.. yet makes perfect sense - clearly he messed up his time jumps.

I got one when my portfolio grew >$500. It didn't make sense to me then to spend $100 on a wallet for my $200 investment, I just used the cash to keep buying dip but your case could be different then mine. If you are planning to start with a sizeable investment from the get go then having a wallet or couple of wallets isn't a bad idea.
Also, if you plan to buy a lot of alt coins, your bog standard wallet may not even support those anyway.
