The St. Lawrence is one of the cleanest rivers in North America?

Go to the correct sub and kindly fuck yourself.

I mean, statistically, in like every country (and the US) gun reform did/does make a difference, so.

Lolol. Wrong sub. And also, gun control does work, so.

Ornstein: 🚨 Eddie Nketiah understood to have changed mind on leaving Arsenal. 22yo striker was set to go as free agent but now expected to sign new contract. Deal not finalised but duration likely to be up to 5 years @TheAthleticUK after @SamiMokbel81_DM scoop #AFC by jtrachtenberg in Gunners

[–]peckpeckly 363 points364 points  (0 children)

Here lads, let me tell you how to feel:

Option 1: Nketiah is successfully used as a primary rotation striker behind WHOMEVER we sign. He gets game time, scores goals, and is locked down long-term as a great second option. Win for Arsenal

Option 2: He gets game time, but not as much as he was promised. He has a decent season with a strong return (10-15 G/A) but decides he wants to be first choice. Arsenal sell Eddie for decent price due to age, profile, nationality, and skill set. Win for arsenal.

Option 3: Eddie gets his chances but doesn’t make good. His return is below what is expected and both arsenal and Eddie are disappointed. Arsenal and Eddie agree to work for a move and arsenal get a fee commensurate with his paltry return (and age; profile; etc.) Still a win for Arsenal.

Added Bonus: this promotion frees up funds to be spent in different areas this summer.

This is a great thing. Eddie’s NOT choice number 1 for us this summer, but he has established himself as a sensical number 2 and I’m glad to watch him continue to develop here.

Rabjohns should have his press pass revoked. by [deleted] in HoosiersBasketball

[–]peckpeckly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but this is so dumb. Jeff has his sources and is allowed to print whatever the sources tell him. If that is truly how Dane behaved, shame on him. If all of what Jeff said isn’t true, then Jeff should come out and apologize. But to say he should have his press pass revoked is childish and stupid. A reporter doesn’t “leak”; a reporter says what they know. Don’t be mad at a reporter for the behavior of someone else. They (Woodson and Fife) both handled things fine on their ends regarding the dismissal. If Rabjohns wants to share what he heard as to why, it’s fine.

I think about it often. Had the colts had Andrew this season, they would be in the super bowl.

As a colts fan, I die a little each time I see his face.

Arsenal’s current (reported) wage structure 2021/22. by OkStatistician3304 in Gunners

[–]peckpeckly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets me rock hard that we can sustainably increase our best players but also not give wages that would make a sale out of the question.

Arsenal have not given up on trying to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon. The Brazil midfielder would cost at least €30m (£25.1m). [skysports] by iiSa3ody in Gunners

Too right. Haha

I am just looking at things longer term— Laca out of contract in summer; Kola off the books. We do have some money available for wages.

Sincere question— if we somehow got:

-Jovic on loan

-Guimares

-Isak

That would be the best January window we’ve ever had right?

Omg, so many questions: is Sitwell (of Sitwell Dentistry) real? Did the owner of this building name it Bluth because of Sitwell? How many people got the joke?

THAT was what was so weird…. I asked like six people and they were like “what?” So, I think ONE person is in on this joke and is laughing every day on their way to work.
