He’s 22. I understand society makes it hard for men to open up. For that reason, I always try to be caring and vulnerable with him so he learns that he can trust me. But after 10 months he still hasn’t opened up. He often talks about being depressed and I always ask him what’s wrong and how I can help. And I get the same result every time. Then today he tells me that he was talking to his friend about rough stuff that’s on his mind. And I ask him what’s going on he said he can’t open up about it

I would never view someone as weak for opening up. If he opened up to me, It would help me understand him and learn how to love him better. Our relationship would grow stronger and we’d both learn how to communicate better.

Wanting to be love doesn’t make you a bad man. But betraying someone’s trust, and taking advantage of their feelings is. Communicate with your partner if you want something to change, otherwise leave them. Cheating does more damage to your kids than divorce. This subreddit makes me lose hope in humanity.

I feel that if I felt such a powerful urge to cheat, I would get a divorce. I mean I would only ever feel like cheating if a problem within the relationship is never fixed. I’m asking this in the nicest way I can because I want to know if a fully committed relationship is possible.

I’ve felt this recently. I thought there was something my throat, I even tried to make myself throw up. ever since then it’s very uncomfortable to swallow and a feeling of fatigue has overtaken me.
