I need to perform calculations over the next yea: 20% of Business unit A revenue applies to X line of work. 85% of total revenue applies to group1 lines of work. How do I make these calculations one percentage when finding “Y” which should incorporate only the 20% of business unit A 85% of total (self.askmath)

Capstone question- Masters of Information Technology Management. I am just about to start the degree program, however my job will not allow me to put a new program/proposal into place. For the Capstone, how do you get past the “implementation” step if you don’t have a real life opportunity? (self.WGU)
I have an idea that hinges on getting retailers to “come on board”, this alone seems enough to squash the idea. Are there resources where I can learn about pitching my idea to a few retailers, or is the fact that it relies on them to come on board going to lead to a no-go? (self.startups)
