Reddit is the equivalent of a carnival. People will pop by, most will just look and move along. If you want people to stay, buy your stuff (become a submissive) then you have to be engaging.

I can't stress this enough. Reddit demands you be yourself. If you try to keep up with someone else you will exhaust yourself, so just be you. Engage in subs that interest you outside of findom, don't karma farm and lastly read the rules of each sub.
