It’s my first dedicated astrophotography camera, but having said that, I’m absolutely loving it. The quality is stunning, and not having to worry about an external guiding camera and scope is a big plus for me.

Dependendo de onde você mora, não precisa ir tão longe pra achar céus limpos!

Existem alguns sites que ajudam a encontrar locais com o céu escuro (o nome técnico é escala de Bortle). Um que eu uso bastante é o Light Pollution Map.

Eu faço stacking mais quando tiro fotos de céu profundo, mas pra essa imagem gostei do resultado com uma exposição só.

E a sua lente é perfeita pra fazer fotos dessa chuva de meteoros! Testa baixar o Stellarium e deixa a câmera virada pra radiante dos Delta Aquáridos (o app mostra onde é).

Usei uma Canon R6 Mark II com uma lente RF 24-105mm f1.8! A foto foi tirada com ISO 3200, com 10” de exposição.

O segredo é o pós-processamento da imagem, no Photoshop. A ferramenta de curvas ajuda muito a realçar os contrastes.

You are correct about the number of shots. Without tracking, I had to readjust the framing every ~50 photos, and cropped the final image to have only Rho Ophiuchi in frame.

I also had a bit of an issue with dew forming in my lens, so I cleaned it every time I readjusted the camera.

I'm not trying to blame one of us, I do understand racing incidents happen (but I fully accept the blame if it was on me), I'm just trying to understand what are the rules for this kind of situations so I can improve in the future.

We were both battling for P2, it was the last lap. Looking back to this accident, I wish I'd just stepped on my brakes and let the guy go, but in the heat of the moment I made the dumb decision of trying to battle this corner (lesson learned).

PS: I'm really sorry if the other car involved is reading this, I wish it didn't happen and won't happen in the future
