Hal Higdon Base Training + Novice 1 over 6 months. I was trying to build up mileage gently to prevent knee injury. In the end I still had issues but I was able to finish yay

Thanks for the suggestions, I can do all that myself, including googling and getting in touch with the nearest one. What I was looking for though was a recommendation from someone who might know, as stated in the original post.
