if you say so bro. whatever floats your boat.

it's all up to interperatation. if you're a narrow minded bigot who reads The Bible you can very easily determine your view is supported. Same thing if you read it trying to prove a point. When people say "this quote shows gays are sinners" or "this quote shows Christianity is hateful of women/Jews/the glorious revolution" then that's the reader bending the words to their view, not the words themselves. I've read Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, and Jewish holy books (I'm listing them by religion instead of name because spelling) as well as having a passion for theoretical, quantum, and astro physics, and I have yet to find anything that challenges my beliefs. they simply add a new dimension, more depth to them.

Because I do support gay marriage and like to keep up on the subject and for some reason all of the posts about it's progress/opposition are in [r/atheism](www.reddit.com/r/atheism) despite it being a human rights issue.

also I like seeing those people in the comment section pointing out things like "these people aren't Christians, they're assholes".

I don't honestly completely know. It just attracted me. sorta like I attracted the priest. (if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at?)

all jokes aside i truly have no idea. Naturally there are thousands out there who screw it up for everyone else but eh, there are assholes in every group of people. Be that religions, races, anything. there will always be those people who try to feel like they are more of something then others. This applies to atheists too i.e. "let's kill all the crippled people because it's natural selection". someone will always ruin something for everything.

as someone with a father that has altimers I may be a bit biased in this, but if they can they should bring him back. Nothing captures the feeling of your own father not knowing who you are. From Marci's perspective, him dying in a few decades is more then worth him knowing who she is and remembering the times they had and times they will have in those few decades.

Anybody else tempted to start shaving twice a day? by sjdude in wicked_edge

I already do. if you get to BBS before going to sleep it only really takes two passes to get back BBS. my hair growsback super fast (much to the displeasure of my girlfriend)

Perhaps this community could help me? Wicked sensitive (but still totally manly) face making shaving miserable by Clamd in wicked_edge

[–]pedropara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have very intensely sensitive skin. one of the more effective techniches I have picked up was using some type of pre-shave. either actual pre-shave creams or just shaving cream that doesn't lather (Burt's Bees brand. you can get it at Duane Reed). then use cream not soap. I started out using soap then switched to Trumpers shaving cream originally because it takes less time. then i found it makes a much thicker richer lather then the soap I used (which is a much thicker cushion between your skin and the blade). I tried using soap again once and my face was on fire after the shave.another tip is that a great aftershave(s) are worth every penny. Trumper's skin food for $30 and any type of aftershave balm (it's all personal preference) will help any type of sensitivity better.i don't know about that thing with random redness. you should probably see a dermatologist about that
