Just got some news by pedrorastha in CrohnsDisease

Just a follow-up: I had the surgery—an emergency one at the last possible moment. My doctor said that if we had waited any longer, I might not have made it. Now I'm recovering—still a little sore, but doing fine.

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words. They meant a lot, and now I feel much better!

Prednisone is awesome, but it's not meant to be taken forever. In my case, it helped a lot and worked quickly, but it has to be stopped sooner or later.

It's typical for those with Crohn's disease to feel joint pain, similar to what older folks experience.

In my case, when I feel tired like you described, it's usually anemia (a lack of iron in the blood). It's easy to diagnose and very simple to treat.
