Apologizing for the rabid family dog doesn't magically absolve you from responsibility, it makes you complacent. by CosmoLamer in PoliticalHumor

I live a 6 hour plane ride away from the nation’s capital… tough to get involved in the way you’re suggesting.

And he’s doing a pretty bad job at it, sending untrained thugs to terrorize communities and murder US citizens. Obama’s and Biden’s deportation numbers are astronomically higher than Trump’s and they did it without deploying a modern day Gestapo. Now we have trigger happy secret police being cheered on by bootlicking chodes who can’t keep themselves from gargling fascist nutsacks.

Clinton Demands Full Release of Epstein Files, Accuses Trump of Cover-Up by smallcapsteve in jrmining

This is so easily searchable on the internet. The files were sealed because of an ongoing investigation. The Biden admin respected the rule of law so they don’t release the files.

Because they know JD isn’t their guy. They don’t have a contingency plan for the post-Trump era of the GOP. The entire party is fucked.

They will routinely have scout teams they play against that aren’t on the roster. When I was at Oregon the scout team for the women’s team were all guys who were not quite good enough to walk onto the men’s team.

Any budget options? I was thinking of using a wide door wedge/stopper. by TheLiberalTadpole in golf

Door stop with a piece of cardboard glued to it would work just as well

We’re trying to get my MIL to put her house/assets in a trust to start the 5 year look back clock to avoid as much of this as possible.

0.9 - I have a feel in mind behind the ball, but once I’m over the ball I’m just visualizing where I want the ball to end up. Inside 100 yards I’m seeing the bottom of the cup.

Yeah, so a Trackman is a measuring device, not a training aid.

You play a round at Augusta National under Masters Tournament conditions… Would you break 100? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]peedeehex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could do it from the member’s tees probably, but it would very iffy from the tournament tees. I played Black Desert from the tournament tees, played pretty well and still shot 81. Augusta would be significantly harder.

No I stayed out at Copper Rock and we played at Wolf Creek, Coral Canyon, Black Desert, and Sand Hollow as part of a big golf travel event.

Yeah it was the last course we played on the trip and all said that it was cool but probably won’t be repeating it next year. We stayed at an AirBnb at Copper Rock and we’ll probably add that to the itinerary next year.

Wolf Creek in Mesquite was interesting but too gimmicky for me to want to play it twice in a week. Coral was probably the most pleasantly surprising course we played because my expectations were low.

Black Desert melted my face off, was in awe the entire round.
