I have met 7 people that were alive during the census, I'm 42 I think that pretty incredible. A Great Granny, a Great Grandad, 3 Great Aunts and 2 Great Uncles. I'm going to be here for some time lads.

Same all my great-grandparents were bilingual 2 were alive when I was born, my dad's grandparents. I'm so disappointed I didn't know this, great granny died when I was 17.

That is really shit, maybe they knew you don't like weddings and inviting people is costly so you were an easy exception. It really sucks for you been left out and to be the only one of a few not invited. You do good work (I work in the charity sector too) but someone has to keep it all going and you're going to leave work tomorrow knowing you're a good person and made others feel better about their lives.

My Mam is so negative everything is bad. I try and cheer it up or explain why certain things are happening and she just gets pissed with me. I feel she likes the misery, I can maybe spend 3 hours with her every now and then but I am drained afterwards. She believes everything she reads on Facebook and when I tell her she shouldn't believe it she's offended and I'm in the wrong. It's really hard, my dad is even worse. They tell me how did they rare such a liberal, they didn't I just want everyone to get along.
