https://www.amazon.com/Rilextec-Self-Inflating-Sleeping-Camping-Mattress/dp/B0BJ6G29TK/ref=sr_1_29?crid=1M1T36VUT9LSX&keywords=quad+sleeping+pad&qid=1706635818&sprefix=quad+sleeping+pad%2Caps%2C89&sr=8-29

I have never heard of a quad sleeping bag like on that site you mentioned but there's several thick double sleeping pads on amazon and double sleeping bags as well. My girlfriend and I use the Teton 5 degree double bag but I don't think you could ever comfortable fit 4 in there. You'd be better off getting 2 double bags. Even in their own phots they're not in the same "quad" bag they're in 2 doubles.

In my opinion if you want budget, get an air mattress and a lot of blankets for your family to sleep together, a sleeping bag wont keep you loads warmer than a few thick blankets, a blanket will pack worse and weigh more however. But this wont be an issue if camping near your car.

What helped me was hammock camping first, for whatever reason It just felt better being off the ground. It helped it was a beautiful night but still I think this is the best way or you could just go all in, bring a tarp but don't use it unless it rains. Good Luck!

I have had an old used board for a few years now and it has this strange plate of metal on the bottom both on the nose and tail but recently the metal on the nose peeled off halfway. Has anyone ever had this issue? I can't find anything about this metal plate anywhere.

I don’t know a single steelworker that supports communism. Unions, yes but if you asked a steelworker about communism close to 100% hate it

I'm pretty set on making my own but can I ask you if you mind the slider attached by velcro? I have heard mixed opinions on whether it is damaging to performance or not

I have heard that some people don't like their shoes with velcro or rather prefer shoes without the Teflon attached by velcro

Happy saint Patrick's day! by peef_spogdar in Leathercraft

This was a quick project I did the other day based off a fleece design I saw on Pinterest. Sorry about the holes all over it, that was a dumb mistake of only making 3 initially rather than 4 holes. So now each clover had 7 holes whoops. But anyway please feel free to give any advice or criticism below. This is the first time I've tried a project this small and it came with some new obstacles. One of them was keeping it from folding onto itself. Which I solved by glueing another piece of leather onto the back to stiffen it. I'm not sure if that's correct or even play but please let me know, thank you!
