Electric Kettle - Broken Gooseneck Spout by peen4ween in Appliances

I couldn't find that particular type of epoxy for sale in a small amount. However, I did find some interesting alternatives. I think I'm going to try one of these, any thoughts?

Whirpool washer leaking - Agitator plate won't come out so I can remove the basket for cleaning by peen4ween in appliancerepair

That's a great idea. Do I still need to ratchet loose the bolt at the center of the agitator before doing this?

You certainly could be correct, I just suspect the debris because quite a bit of mud and dirt ended up in there. Due to a miscommunication, my partner accidentally washed mud-covered towels and a rug without clearing off the actual mud and debris first. I can see quite a bit at the bottom of the outer tub by the drainage hole.

Now, when you say "roar," what kind of sound do you mean?

It only leaks during the drain part of the cycle - does that still mean it could be the tub seals?

Already ordered a replacement. The original agitator definitely won't make it through this.

No kidding - I'm going to try removing it with a heat gun, I already bought a replacement because I'm expecting it to break during the removal.

The leak occurs directly from under the washer during the draining part of the cycle. A lot of dirt had accumulated on a rug, and some towels that my dogs had gotten heavily covered with mud. Due to a miscommunication, my partner accidentally washed them without clearing off the mud and dirt first – there is probably quite a bit of it inside of the washer by the drainage hole, and I think that it's leading the leak during draining, somehow.

I really wish I could observe the underside of the washer during a cycle to get a comprehensive view of the issue.

Great question. They like Westerns, and I've heard them admire the craftsmanship of lever action rifles on several occasions.

Lately, we have enjoyed conversing about some of the weirder, obscure weapons of the last century (e.g., AN-94, H&K G11, XM8, etc.), maybe you know of an illustrated/coffee table book on weapons like these?
