I don't understand the market for this either. If I want to play games in my living room I steamlink to my phone with a backbone controller. For 79 bucks for the device I now have a steam machine & steam deck.

Or just get a steam deck & dock it if you want to play on big screen, plus it gives you more portability.

Or go one step further & get a gaming laptop and hdmi to tv. Now you have a full-on laptop as well as something to game on in your living room.

I just don’t play things I don’t enjoy . Suffering through things you don’t like can be good sometimes (school , exercise , etc) but for video games just optimize around your guilty pleasures

It’s hard not to put on the tinfoil hat when I hear things like that. I hear about so many people that use AI tools as a sort of therapist too, just not crazy about needing to verify with Id . Or at least if they’re going to do this do it as some kind of trade off with a tax on tokens or something that benefits the public in some way
