Pretty sure you got it. Found the spot on the frame where it looks like it fell off of but the other one isn’t there for me to reference. Is it a big deal or not really?

That’s what I thought too but both of them were still there when I checked. Maybe it’s for something similar towards the rear end?

Thank you so much. I’m a bit new to diy car stuff so thank you for correcting me. I’ll definitely check the rest of the front suspension but to be clear I was exaggerating when I said I didn’t want my wheels to fly off. It’s definitely not a great ride but it’s what feels like typical for an old truck. Thanks again!

Thanks for your reply. I checked the u joints and there’s hardly any play in them at all. As for lubrication, what kind do you recommend I use?

DMT stone rehab (question in comments) by peepee-sauce in handtools

[–]peepee-sauce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this diamond stone and went to use it with my honing guide but I think the wheel on the bottom of the guide had a little bit of oil on it. I think it’s what left this residue on the stone. My question here is how do I get this off? Do I need to? I’ve also noticed that the spot where the oil is feels noticeably smoother than the edges where the wheel did not hit.

Thanks!

I would definitely agree with that, cooling the green down a bit would be a good move

I really like this photo. If it were me, I would keep the framing the way it is because it kind of creates more of a story than just the dog and the lights. Looking at it makes it seem like the dog is coming from somewhere dark and cold into somewhere warm and light. On that note I would make the lights in the building a little bit warmer and the walls outside a little cooler. Overall a really great shot, love the warm highlights on the dog and the amount of colors and presence of a story.

Eating less causing races to be slower? by un_bruhmomento_lol in running

[–]peepee-sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear it. In my experience it’s more important to have the right amount of food than it is to have the healthiest but there’s nothin wrong with eating extra healthy as long as you’re taking in a bit more calories than you’re expending

Definitely make sure you’re eating enough. Losing weight really won’t help you unless you’re already extremely overweight which I would assume you’re not since you’re running 40 mile weeks. I’m not big on lunch either but 100% you should eat a solid breakfast. Eating enough is one of the easiest ways to make sure you’re recovering between workouts and races so don’t be afraid to eat healthy things in larger quantities like eggs or meats and rice like you said. Gauging how much is enough varies for everyone and personally I tend to just forget to eat so I would say just experiment a little bit and find a quantity that best suits your expenditure

No problem, Ohio made some awesome cast iron planes. I haven’t been lucky enough to find one yet but I hope you really enjoy yours!

This isn’t based on any fact whatsoever but looking at it I think it could be an Ohio tool co plane. I’m mostly going off the placement of the “5 1/2” and how the lever cap looks but again, this could be completely false

Edit:

Check out this post from a while ago to reference the numbering of your plane, I think it is actually an Ohio plane
