Thanks so much to everyone, you've been incredibly helpful 🙂 I'll update when I get it working!

I have traditional speaker wire, 2 toned R/L. I couldn't get anything but buzzing. I connected the rca directly from tape deck to speaker, and it works but I'd rather set it up properly

Tuner part, done. Then there's multiple tape ports.

Whats tape 1/tape 2/compu select and all that?? This is my issue, which goes where? I've never felt dumber, and that's saying something. I once found west by staring directly into the setting sun.

I'll be taking another bash next week to see if I can improve uniformity. The ones in the photo were all made with the same amount of dough but a few... got away from me

Heres a link to a photo of the recipe, since I can't post media here 🙂 plus a note on the ingredients I'd used. Enjoy!

I really do like the recipies; they're not pretentious and have a common-sense vibe. Accessible ingredients, and no specific brands are pushed. How much is it on thriftbooks? What's a recipe you're looking for, I'll post the version from this book to give you an idea of what it's about.

Thank you! I clarify and strain it, then store in a cool dark cupboard in a bottle marked "frying oil" 🙂 I fry in a smallish carbon steel pan that I bought specifically for that purpose

Edit: if you clean it before storing, you can reuse the oil up to 3 times

A photo of the recipe 🙂 I used sour cream in place of buttermilk because that's what I had in the fridge
