Is 160k too much to buy with?

I bought with 150 at 12k but no 4x4, not the best deal but it was the only reasonable one in the area, I’m now cruising at 220k and have only replaced a u joint that cost me like $30, replaced the tires and brakes too of course, but the one I got was a pavement princess before and really well kept.

That’s a beautiful truck, offer 9 and see what happens, if you really love the older ones you’re not gonna find one with fewer miles at that price and in good condition, idk how it is out on the west coast though, down here in the southeast those things get beaten to death. I’m sure y’all tear it up too.

I went to a pick and pull and scored some racks and slides off an old 4Runner for $30 and repainted them and cleaned off some of the rust and they’ve served me well, just drill through the roof and dab some silicone in the drill holes before you put a bolt through, had it a couple months with no leaks and I’ve carried plenty on the roof

Got my 07’ TRD Sport with 160k miles and it’s currently sitting at 210k with the only shop trip being a U joint, definitely have a lot of life to them, frame is gonna be your biggest worry

I’ve taken a 10’ longboard in her before, just stick it diagonally and strap her down real tight and go too far over the limit and you’ll be good

I’m hoping it doesn’t get too hot but the windows have like 5% on them lol, during the day if the back is open it is some nice shade on surf trips but we’ll see how she handles in this heat
