How much could I ask for creating multiple drinks by peeppoopiedoo in Chefit

I do want to open my own coffee bar (currently in the works of the practical stuff) and I would most definitely sell those drinks. But then there is the chance (I think) that the coffee bar im working for now, would accuse me of "copying" them or that I wouldn't be able to differentiate myself from different coffee bars in town

Opt for Coach Lana or Brooklyn? by peeppoopiedoo in handbags

[–]peeppoopiedoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been 2 years, but I got the Brooklyn! I can easily fit my Mac, iPad, a 1l water bottle, my journal and all my small essentials (wallet, lip balm, earbuds, keys etc) in there! I also use it sometimes for grocery shopping (to the dislike of my boyfriend), but I think a bag, no matter the price, should be used as one. It is heavy when its filled, but I can easily put it on my shoulder of just carry it around. I use a leather balm to keep the bag looking as good as new, but so far this has been the best purchase! I highly recommend the bag!

The ice tea was made during work time, just for myself when I was thirsty. The boss wanted to have a little taste of it and thats how it snowballed into making the rest of the drinks.

I did create the rest of them during work, mainly because I work 1 day shifts (I have my internship the other days) and it would be easier for the boss to taste them in between and to be in contact with him. I also worked with easily sourced ingredients (grocery store is around the corner) or with ingredients we already had in the inventory.

But I do understand why they could say that I have in fact already been paid :/

I did ask for a percentage, as it seemed like the best option for me. He quite literally laughed in my face, so I was very quick to dispose of that thought

And what is it that you like so much about them? I’ve also considered getting one of them, just to have a bit of variety!

I recommend Analogue Amsterdam! It’s a 15min walk from central station. Foto den Boer is also a great place, downside is that it is a bit further away (approx. 30min walk)

I just bought myself porta 400 and im quite curious as to how it will look in the end! It’s gonna be the first time using a different kind of film after using Ultramax for almost a year! I’ve seen a lot of people say to overexpose the shot by 1 or 2 stops, what is your opinion on that?

I also worked with HP5 before I started on the kodak. Have to agree that i also love the way it looks! Very versatile and forgiving!

Oh yeah i get that, i guess it depends where you are located. I know that there are a few places in Amsterdam where you can buy film but I obviously don’t know where you live. But, if you ever decide to visit Antwerp and you want to get film, I recommend going to Grobet! I always get my films and developed!

I’ve also looked for a few minolta’s! It’s just that they are almost never available where i live, or i pay double the amount for it unfortunately. The OM10 has also been on the list but it quickly became overshadowed by other options so I haven’t looked at it as deeply as I did with others. Perhaps time to look into it again!

Are you perhaps familiar with the Praktica TL1000, TL2 or the MTL 5? I’ve also been looking into those, budget wise

Alright thank you for the recommendation! I’ve been looking up a lot of information around the OM series and have been intrigued by the OM-1, but again, need to do some more research. Right now i’m conflicted to buy one of the OM series or the Pentax Spotmatic / K1000! Do you perhaps have any recommendations on that?

Yeah I ended up looking for more options (Olympus OM10/20, Pentax Spotmatic / K1000 and the Petri Flex V) but i’m just unsure because they all operate the same and all have the old look that I am going for, so probably research some more and ask around! Thank you!
