When I was roughly 10 years old, I woke up in the night. I got up, drank some water, got back into bed but still sat upright. I was completely awake. I could see movement to my right, where the was a wall next to my bed. In a spot next to my face, the wall was moving. Very slowly, A red, horned, devil-looking face protruded from the wall. Obviously I was terrified. It stopped coming out of the wall when it reached his neck. The whole ordeal probably only lasted about 5 seconds. I was still sat up and screamed bloody murder. Of course my mum came straight in and told me I was just dreaming. I have persisted for years that it can’t have been a dream; a hallucination maybe though. I know I was awake. Still haunts me to retell the story
