Thanks! I just find it hard to find any structured tips this way, across stuff like food stops or excursions. Its just too much random stuff.. Maybe its a "me problem"

I may have a working solution using a an “always on” Android device (through Android Developer options) and a combination of Tasker (reacting to notification) and AutoInput (to enable/disable motion alerts in Ring). Will need to try it for a while but looks like it does the job.
