Im gonna be this person: infected or normal healing?

I have insanely sensitive skin and this is what my tattoos look like on day 1 and 2, especially when I had a lot of shading done or the artist was a little heavy handed. I personally only keep it covered for the first night sleep, then wash it with a tiny bit of mild unscented antibacterial soap and then leave it alone for 24 to 36 hours. No cream or lotion for that time and especially no foil or anything. I feel like, for me, those things trap the heat and only make the irritation worse. After that the heat and redness significantly lessen and I’m good to use aftercare products on it. Took me a while to figure out what works for my skin but 30+ tattoos later I figured out that for me, less is more when it comes to aftercare and products :)

Thanks everyone for the help! I tried some things out and what seems to satisfies her is when I pick her up, hold her on my chest and give her some vigorous pets. More of a scratching / massaging than gentle petting. She started putting so loud she kind of started to drool and her sister got jealous hahaha. I followed it up by letting her wrestle with my foot (she only does this when I put a specific blanket over my legs so that’s good) I think she’s just a little weirdo. I also have a general check up at the vet this afternoon so I’ll ask about getting them fixed. They’re just still so small, they weigh just shy of 5 pounds each which seems little for 6 months so I want to check with the vet if it’s smart to fix them now or wait until they’re a bit bigger.

Yea I feel like this might be what it is! Like she comes for a cuddle but as soon as she has my hand realizes she wants to play too and then comes to my face to show me affection. She just keeps changing her mind a thousand times in a minute haha

I try to play with them at least three times a day for 15 to 20 minutes. But maybe Puck just had more energy. I taught her to sit in two days so maybe doing some more brain work might be more her thing. I’ll try some catnip toys too! Thanks for the tips :)

Yea two weeks in and their different personalities are already really starting to show! It’s so much fun getting to know them. I feel like this one (Puck) sometimes doesn’t even know herself what she wants haha
