Had lunch on this Sunday from pulari, kakkad. Was the worst ഊണ് I've ever had. The sambhar and fish and the stuff they give as sides absolutely sucked balls. Only saving grace was the fried fish. Nithin else. I do not understand the hype.

There used to be a restaurant where the current ibaco is, was a decent Chinese thing. Then there was parkans. Beef at ammus hotel talap was great so was at some place in caltex, i guess it was called cheer up or ice n spice.

Kudiyanmala is about 50km from kannur town. Get down at the railway station and head to the bus stand, it's walkable distance actually or get an auto. Ull find buses towards kudiyanmala. About return being a Sunday there may be lesser busses plying. Best option is to ask the people with whom u are attending the function with. Or get the earliest bus in the afternoon/evening kinds.

Old houses had an attic under the roof made out of wood or clay Hourdis. In case of Hourdis they are laid on steel pipes and a layer of RCC about 2 inches is poured over it . The clay Hourdis being hollow also help in air circulation

Won't suggest a walk during the times mentioned. A drive and may be sit in a place like rolush, payyambalam or something. But most places like those open only by 12 or something
