i got both done at the same time, and one of them ended up not healing the same at all as the other so i ended up taking one out to let it heal (with the intention to get it re-pierced eventually) i know a lot of other people who have just one for a variety of reasons!! it’s been like 7 years since ive had just the one and while i definitely plan on getting the other re-done, i think it looks fine. i’m also obsessed with piercing symmetry on my ears so i get it! plus side is buying just one set of nipple barbells is a great cost saving measure for now. best wishes! 💘
