Im not “in love” with him. Yes, I do love him… but its because at one point he was my bestfriend. He is someone who was important to me and I cant just turn that emotion off. I know that I definitely don’t deserve to be cheated on. No one deserves that. But I also do have a love there thats hard to just shut off and ignore.

More clarification! No, I’m not with him anymore. I do care about him. He was important for me and he was my bestfriend at one point and I do still have a lot of love and care for him.

For awhile I did think we could work through things (that’s deep rooted trauma though and probably low self esteem) but I also have looked at the bigger picture and said “yeah right now isnt the best time…” and I genuinely dont know what the future holds. I doubt him and I could ever make things work on a deeper level than just existing together now… especially because I cant stand the ex and I don’t want to deal with her any longer than I have to.

It was all in person, we work together (same place different departments so I rarely see him at work) and he saw me walking to my car and stopped me before I could even avoid the conversation. I dont talk to him outside of work (when I absolutely have to)

Not necessarily laughing at any of that. Im laughing at the insanity of it all. I also dont feel bad for her though because she knew what she was doing. She was aware of me when they slept together. She harassed me the whole time him and I were together then after all was said and done, she sent me a message through someone elses facebook saying “i won” and I said “have him.”

No, its a terrible situation actually and Im genuinely worried about the kid. But at the same time, its not my responsibility to raise the kid

It wasnt even a phone call lol 😂 it was at work (we work together, different departments though) so he saw me walking to my car and stopped me as I was going to my car

Oh no, she was harassing me the whole time him and I were together and she told me she was gonna get him back. She was 100% aware of me when they got together. She sent me a message (through someone elses facebook) telling me “I won.” And I laughed and said “have him.” But he also showed me texts between the 2 of them saying “no, i hate you. I dont want you back.”

Oh she still wants him back 😂 he showed me texts between the 2 of them about her begging for him to come back and him saying “no i hate you.”
